2. Principles

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website, answer your enquiries and carry out orders. This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools or social media plug-ins. Fonts are loaded locally from our server; no connections are made to Google Fonts or other third-party providers.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is provided via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient provision). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses are also in place. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Contact and enquiry form

If you contact us by email, phone, fax, post or via the enquiry form, we process your details (e.g. name, contact details, content of the enquiry and uploaded documents) solely to handle your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the order. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The details and files submitted via the form are transmitted in encrypted form (TLS) to our server at Cloudflare; they are not stored on the website but forwarded to us directly by email. To send this email, we use the service provider Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor; the data is processed there only for delivery. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under German commercial and tax law) apply.

5. Confidentiality of documents

We treat all documents submitted to us for translation in strict confidence. On request, we will sign a non-disclosure agreement. Documents are only passed on to translators and interpreters bound to secrecy, insofar as this is necessary to carry out the order.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Please use the contact details above.
