General terms and conditions

1 Acceptance of orders
All orders are accepted and carried out solely on the basis of the following general terms and conditions. By placing an order, the client accepts these terms.
2 Execution of the translation order
The translation is carried out professionally. The client receives the version of the translation agreed orally or in writing by the agreed means.
3 Client’s duty to cooperate
The client shall inform us in good time of any special forms of execution and formats required for the translation.
Incorrect translations resulting from illegible source texts are not the responsibility of Sönmez Interpreting and Translation Agency.
4 Remedy of defects / liability / claims for damages
Translations are produced professionally. Should one of our translations nevertheless be defective, the defect must be reported to us in writing within 3 days; otherwise the translation shall be deemed free of defects. In the event of a defect, the client is entitled to a corrected, defect-free version. Liability for consequential damages is excluded. Should the translation prove unsuitable for the purpose intended by the client (advertising purposes etc.), we reserve the right to rectify it. In no case shall this give rise to claims for damages against Sönmez Interpreting and Translation Agency.
5 Confidentiality
Sönmez Interpreting and Translation Agency undertakes to maintain secrecy about all facts that come to its knowledge in connection with its work for the client. Sönmez Interpreting and Translation Agency may engage third parties to carry out any business if it considers this necessary.
6 Disruptions, force majeure, server errors and viruses
No liability is accepted for damage caused by viruses, transmission errors or force majeure.
7 Prices
All prices are subject to change. The prices quoted are net prices.
8 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
The contractual relationship between Sönmez Interpreting and Translation Agency and the client is governed exclusively by German law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes for both parties is the registered office of Sönmez Interpreting and Translation Agency.
9 Severability clause
Should one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions be or become invalid for any legal reason, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
